World of warcraft latency issues

Hi Since upgrading to an ax88u 386.2_4 with vpn and skynet, I am getting constant high latency issues and the game is unplayable or just disconnects me.

Can skynet cause high latency or is it just my vpn?

That looks like quite a large jump.

Try the trace without the VPN. Also, ping with and without VPN.

VPNs will almost always add latency, due to encryption and also VPN providers not necessarily having routing that's as optimal as a multihomed ISP.

Turns out most ppl from uk are having this problem, on wow forums, so might not be the router vpn etc.

#2 would be router to internet provider, pretty normal. #9 is where things go to hell

You are bouncing from UK to Italy to North America, that's not really an optimal route.

Use a VPN with an exit node in North America directly if you're playing on US servers.
