New Around Here
Good day. Due to YouTube slowdown, and now almost complete blocking, I set up a wireguard server and an Xray server on my VPS, working on the VLESS protocol with XTLS -Reality.
On the stock firmware of the asus rt-ax58u, I set up the client part of Wireguard and calmly watched YouTube on webos TVs in my house. But since yesterday, providers began to block traffic via the wireguard protocol.
Xray works, so please tell me if it is possible to set up the client part of Xray via the VLESS protocol on the router, if you flash the firmware from Merlin, install entware and install packages (do they exist?), maybe there is a detailed instruction?
I found something similar https://github.com/zw963/asuswrt-merlin-v2ray/tree/master but I don’t understand Linux very well, can someone help me figure it out or maybe there is an easier way?
Sorry for my English, I wrote it using Google Translate.

I've been working on integrating the XRAY UI into Merlin firmware on my ASUS router, focusing on the server side for now. It's definitely possible to get XRAY running, and I'm making progress on creating a user-friendly interface for managing it directly from the router's web UI.

Regarding your comment about setting up the XRAY client with the VLESS protocol. I haven't added client support yet, but I'll look into the possibility of integrating it for easy configuration on the router. I'll keep you posted.

It's almost ready! The project supports 2 modes: acting as a VPN server or connecting as a VPN client.

However, I'm a bit hesitant to release it just yet and could use some help/support due to a lack of router versions for testing (I’ve only tested it on my RT-BE88U, where it works perfectly).

If anyone is interested in joining the testing or supporting the project, feel free to PM me or check out the GitHub project. This is looking very promising!
