No auto updated and no release notes, but updated manually with "check for updates" 🤷‍♂️

I applied the the update this morning, but I also cannot find any release notes....

The release notes for 3.0.0.4.388_24688 are the same as the release notes for 3.0.0.4.388_24684. In other words, it's a lot of security gibberish without telling us what was updated.

Details of new firmware only seem to appear in some regions: https://www.asus.com/ie/networking-.../helpdesk_bios?model2Name=ASUS-ZenWiFi-AX-XT8 As mentioned it is identical to 388_24684

Release note:
1.Strengthened input validation and data processing workflows to further protect information security.
2.Enhanced AiCloud password protection mechanisms, safeguarding against unauthorized access attempts.
3.Enhanced device security through improved buffer handling in connection features.
4.Refined data handling processes, ensuring secure and accurate information management.
5. Enhanced file access control mechanisms, promoting a more secure operating environment.
6. Strengthened certificate protection, providing enhanced data security.

This update seems to be the best yet. WiFi definitely seems to be faster and works better.
I agree on that. My backhaul is almost as stable as it was with the 386 branch, with the main plus that it uses the full 160mhz bandwith.

Updated via app and all appears ok so far. Just wish Asus was a little more forthcoming in what this FW does instead of just copying/pasting the prior FW's release notes.

Yeah I have working 160mhz backhaul again now also. Previously it would always drop to 2.4ghz if 160 option was enabled. Even when set as 160/80/40/20.

This has (as have the last two previous updates ) been very stable even when doing a dirty upgrade (I did not reset the router and all its nodes after each update), which is something that was mandatory to get all the previous updates working well. Also of note the number of comments after each of the last three updates in this forum have been quite small compared to the lengthy number of comments reflecting issues people have had, in the older updates. Asus is finally on the right track with the Xt8 updates?
