Sigh. Unfortunately, while it is available for automatic update, they don’t appear to have put that new version on the download site yet.

My main router updated successfully, but all attempts to update the second via app or web GUI fail… and I can’t do a manual update to it because I can’t go download the new version.

Blech.

I think they fixed that and it appears in both sections

Yep, can confirm that it is now there, and I successfully updated both nodes.

Unfortunately, it’s now choosing 2.4g for the wireless backhaul, so I need to figure out what’s up with that. But at least there’s progress.

I found that for me on first set up it used 2.4GHz and then after a few minutes it fixed itself

Yep, I see the same thing.

Though I'm still having problems with the node - it may think it is using 5G, but I'm getting extremely slow connectivity on any device connected to it.

Tried 43181, still had issues with my Kasa devices. Back to 42095 for me.

I have 6 Kasa plugs with no problems at all with XT8 in any firm. Problems came with Android 6 devices, but latest firm solved them.
