Impressively quiet. I guess there are either not many BE86Us in use, or everyone is using ASUS-Merlin.

Go on, buy one and test it out for us waiting to see how this one develops … you know you want one :).

Running on this code for the week now. See multiple errors and reboots now in logs. Saving copy here.

I found after upgrading that some of my setting had strange values or were changed from what I had them set to.
A reset resolved these issues so I would suggest all upgrading to this version factory reset after upgrade and do not reuse a saved cfg file.

The software of this router is a disaster, in the previous model it worked very well.

After updating the new software, there were constant restarts as if the processor was overheating, jumps in data transfer speed above the limit I have from the Internet provider (i.e. the data is not real), drops in speed after 30 seconds of copying data from the connected disk, etc.

The only thing that helped at the moment was a factory reset and setting everything up again, but there was a problem here because for some time it was not possible to set access rights to data from the disk for users. Only after configuring VPI and other settings did such an option appear (previously you could see the lines --------- ).
I still do not understand why the processor shows a load of 5 to 10% when I do nothing in the previous model where the processor was much weaker, the load was between 1 and 3%.

In addition, there are still several options missing that were in AiCloud 2.0 in the previous model.

"3. Improved AiMesh Backhaul Compatibility."

Weird, I don't see that setting. Anyone else?

It's not a setting and only ASUS knows what they mean.

Why would they then say:
"This setting can be found under "Network > Main Network"
Don't confuse #2's WPA Encryption Settings Update with #3 AiMesh Backhaul.

HELLO
Can you send us the appearance of your bookmarks in AiCloud 2.0 (in RT-AX86U I had more options, I don't know if I have a software error in the new RT-BE86U or if it actually has fewer options than its predecessor.
