    NAS and IP-surveillance storage

Mobotix Might not be a fix for your current install but, Mobotix cameras write directly to the NAS. They also have a buffer built in to each camera. The benefit is they dont drop frames. I can reboot my NAS and still not drop any frames!! Having said all that - the comments about...

What do you use your NAS for?

Synology I have a Synology RS2212 (10 bay) in Raid 10. I have several IP cameras writing to it. It seems to handle the big multiple and 24/7 write/delete operations just fine. The most important aspect is random and sequential read speeds when playing video back.

    Really weird printer problem

Thats a good idea. I will try that. Also if I now want to manually add the printer (3rd instance of same printer as I already have PCL5 and PCL6 drivers installed) - do I need to remove the other drivers first? Another little brian wave I had was that the Internet Security, Kaspersky, may...

    Really weird printer problem

Hi Guys, We have got a workgroup of about 3 computers. The layout is something like: <Internet>---<ADSL Mdm>---<Linksys WRT54GL/DDWRT>---<Switch>---<Comps+Printers> Things seem to have been working ok until we added a HP 300DN printer. Installed the PCL6 driver on each PC on the network...
