    RT-AC66U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.376.3626

I finally got around to installing 3626. All is well and the connection speed for the machine most distant from the router has increased.

    RT-AC66U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.376.3626

Ah, thank you. The bolded section in the quote seems extremely relevant. 3602 was a disaster for me. So, I'd still like to hear from someone for whom 3602 didn't work but for whom 3626 did. 2524 has the NAT loop-back problem. I'm still on 1123.

    RT-AC66U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.376.3626

Thanks for the feedback. Just to add to the database here, had you tried 3602? What is your hardware version?

    New AC66 Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.2524

Congratulations. As you can read in this thread and here, for those of us for whom v3602 did not work, the situation has not changed.

    New User Comments: RT-AC66U

The GUI used to report 3602 as the latest. After the **** hit the fan on 2524 and 3602, they apparently changed their server such that 1123 is reported as the latest. So far as I can tell, 1123 is the latest working update. :) So, after two failures in a row, at least Asus tried to limit...

    New User Comments: RT-AC66U

Firmware v.3602 is awful. I and others are using v.1123 (as in 3.0.0.4.376.1123). v.2524 is also troublesome. More information here and here.

    New AC66 Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.2524

2524 was a disaster for me as a result of the NAT loopback problem. 1123 has been stable. Waiting for the successor to 3602...

    New AC66 Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.2524

Thanks again. I'll just wait for a new firmware update and hope that all the settings are correct and that it works. For now, v.1123 gives me everything I need. Given that it was bad firmware that previously corrupted the nvram settings, is it likely that new firmware to be released will...

    New AC66 Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.3602--bug?

Yes, thanks-- was just asking if you noticed that message. I thought it was amusing that they're saying that any admissions are "off the record." :) Thanks for the link. Title edited!

    New AC66 Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.2524

Thanks for the explanation. I assume that clearing the nvram entirely would be effective as well. Yes?

    New AC66 Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.2524

Thanks for the tip but my experience and ddarko's are the same in that a roll-back to a previous version restores it all and re-installing v.3602 makes the channels disappear again. To me, that would suggest that there is not an issue persisting from a previously corrupted nvram setting. If...

    New AC66 Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.3602--bug?

Yup-- same email that I received. Note that he acknowledges only that it affects the GUI and suggests the flawed v.2524. I received a second email stating that the problems are recognized and have been escalated. BTW-- notice this at the bottom of those emails: All statements, written...

    New AC66 Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.3602--bug?

I just received two replies from Asus tech. support. They are acknowledging the error in v.3602 and suggesting a downgrade to v.2525. That version, as we know, is seriously flawed as well. I suggest v.1123.

    New AC66 Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.3602--bug?

Thanks, ddarko. I figured we should have a new and separate thread for 3602.

    New AC66 Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.3602--bug?

New AC66 Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.3602--BUG!!! As described in post #20 here (now reproduced in post #2 right below), there seem to be issues with 5 GHz in the most recent upgrade. There are only two control channel options that appear after the upgrade, Auto and 0.

    New AC66 Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.2524

I also found that the only 5 GHz control channel choices after upgrade to 3602 were Auto and 0. I downloaded a fresh copy of the firmware, disconnected all cables except for the cable to the desktop in use (as suggested here), and re-installed 3602. Twice! That produced the same results.

    New AC66 Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.2524

Thanks-- I'm aware. I saw it yesterday soon after it was released. I installed it and 3602 resolves the issue I had with 2524.

    New AC66 Firmware 3.0.0.4.376.2524

Virtual Server/Port forwarding bug!!! Just an FYI-- Yesterday, I installed my brand new RT-AC66U. I upgraded the firmware to the latest version: 3.0.0.4.376.2524. Everything seemed to work fine except for one problem. One of my machines runs an SSH host. I use the Virtual Server menu to...
