    very bad AiMesh performance

Yes, drop Aimesh and set the AC68 as a AP. I've tried seval times to use Aimesh but the performance and stability send me back to basic setup. I have GT RT-5300, RT-5300 and AC68' and the performance on non Aimesh is epic good.

    ASUS Router Advice

My setup is GT-AC5300 as the main router and a AC5300 as a wired Access Point. We have 4 people in the household and the average download per day is roughly 60-70 Gb of downloads. The AC5300 didn't do job alone but the new setup is awesome. /Dolph

    Next after GT AC5300 ??

Had the RT-AC5300 and after a period it causing some issues with dropping the WIFI. It was the CPU that was MAX out. Then I bought the GT RT-AC5300 and have had that for 1 month now and it's awesome. Max CPU has been 10% and the "old" RT-AC5300 is now working as a AP, and it love it :-)
