    Without QOS I get this http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest/4318982 my bufferbloat (C) doesn't improve even if I quarter my upload speed. Must be my ISP.

    I had this on my 68u, thought it was buggered, I had to restore using recovery interface with an older firmware, then incrementally upgrade to that version.

    Good luck Rajesh, I know when I had my N66U there was a few times I thought it was bricked but I managed in the end, maybe even try a different pc/ethernet cable just in case something else is causing the issue.

    Try this, visit 192.168.1.1, and with browser recovery interface reset NVRAM and flash merlins 380.57. dont touch anything else and leave it for 2 hours just to be sure. Cross fingers.

    RT-AC68U hardware versions

    Is this referring to the 'Reducing USB 3.0 interference' option in the professional section of 2.4GHz? Cant see any other disable usb3 option, only reason is I'm pretty sure I have a usb 2 drive connected to the usb3 socket, so disabling and putting in usb 2 could potentially improve 2.4GHz?

    Pretty sure no 3, is when the state is saved to ram but is lost when power is cut so probably best bet is no 2.

    I hope I can find one. Fingers crossed. Is it clearly stated on the box? I might ring around so if anyone can identify a B1.

    I'm probably going to get one of these in the UK sometime in June, Ill keep an eye out for B1 or C1 versions. Only thing it seems I cant bank on a B1 being the faster CPU.

    'i will say however with the new rt-ac68u that is now also 1 gig cpu etc you would also get about the same performance and prob save some money' Is this a newer model with 1ghz cpu? Googling around it seems to state its 800mhz.

    I'm considering going for the AC3200 from my N66U, my download speed from ISP is now 200Mbps the N66U is struggling to keep up with parental controls etc enabled. Hopefully the AC3200 will be better going forward price and feature wise.

    Also N66U, the only issue I see with disabling NAT acceleration, is the reduction in my download speed from my max 208 Mbps to 140 Mbps.     In the bios on my pc you can set it to power on after power loss, wol for me works from a sleeping system not when shut down. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk

    I presume the HGG version I'm using is based on the same placement, Ive changed colours but wouldn't centering the Merlin logos/text vertically be more pleasing on the eye? Might need a slight reduction in size to not protrude.
