Hi Merlin,
I'd like to point a small thing, but that have a negative impact on the aesthetics and image.

The "Powered by Asuswrt-Merlin", placed on the router's home page, has two icons (the router and the Merlin's hat) that are too large, they are not centered and exit out from underlying containment band, with a visual effect and aesthetic really bad, it sounds like a "fake", "sticky", "approximate thing".

So I suggest:
- zoom out the two icons, or
- move "icons and the written" slightly lower, perfectly centered in the background bar.

Sorry if I point out this "frivolity", perhaps for you is more important the substance than the aesthetics, but I can assure you that this logo does a negative effect and gives a feeling of fake, a poor accuracy, a less attention to detail and it does not valorizes the great work you do every day.

In short, it is also a question of image.

Sorry again, and congratulations for the great and good work you do every day.

As an average user it does not bother me. It even seems that the Merlin text and logo are aligned against the Asus tagline. And just like the colour scheme of the webpage...it's the functionality that counts.

PS: of course Eric is not firmware professional, so the image does not seem to be misplaced :)

The router and the hat are part of the same image, they are not two separate icons.

The logo was developed a few years ago by a user, and it wasn't intended specifically for use on the webui. So, aligning/resizing can be difficult, if trying to fit it within the existing CSS, which doesn't leave me much wiggle room. That was the best alignment I was able to achieve at the time, without resorting to rewriting the CSS for that whole header section. It gets tricky because Asus created a single section that contains images, text AND HTML buttons - three quite different types of elements with each their own idea of how to align themselves. Moving one item was impacting every other elements in the section, making things even worse.

If someone is an expert at CSS and is able to modify the alignment, I'm open code submissions. Otherwise, CSS ain't exactly my area of expertise (and every single browser seems to have their own opinion on how to handle any complex CSS).

I presume the HGG version I'm using is based on the same placement, Ive changed colours but wouldn't centering the Merlin logos/text vertically be more pleasing on the eye? Might need a slight reduction in size to not protrude.
