    200-300 Mbps I think was more like an R7000 or AC68U with the old 1 GHz Cortex A9 CPUs. The R7800 could hit around ~700 Mbps in OpenWRT if I recall correctly and newer Netgear / Asus models I would assume may also pull off 600-700 Mbps+ without NAT acceleration

    QoS on gig makes sense if it’s aysmetrical. Like 1.4 Gbps down and 40-50 Mbps Up like I get on Comcast. I use it because at times I do saturate the upload side.

    I had that happen at times on a my Netgear CAX80 Modem/Router with the Ookla page, probably just an app issue on the router. I would just ignore it, as clients have no issues.

    Yeah you can do teaming, it will double your bandwidth but note that a single target transfer between PC and NAS would still be limited to speed of 1 port. Teaming is more useful when having multiple connections/transfers going on in parallel.
