    Development musings

Indeed I'm ok with this proposal of kvic: one stable release of the "most robust" GPL form ASUS and possibily the latest updates for the various components (OpenVPN, Samba, Minidlna, etc...) and an unstable/development release based on the latest ASUS GPL and obviously on the latest updates for...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.59 is now available

Hi Merlin. I have a RT-AC88U and I noticed a discrepancy in the data between "traffic monitor" and "statistic" tab on Traffic Analyzer section. In 380.58 the two seemed fine, instead now with 380.59 they are really different and I think the real one is "traffic monitor". I reset the statistic...

    AB-Solution 1.06 is out!

Hi Lonely, I upgraded both 1.05 and 1.06 today, and the only problem I got was about the services-start script deleted on my /jffs partition. No trace on the installation log; 1.06 for example: -------------------------------------------------- AB-Solution 1.06 installation / upgrade...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.57 is now available

Hi guys, I don't know if it's been discussed already: I have a RT-AC88U with the 380.57 firmware and it seems the WAN access of the router webui is extremely slow (port 8080, http). No problem accessing other web server on the same router ( aMule, transmission, etc...) Anyone experienced the...

IPv6 lost LAN address when changing LAN settings

Yes, reboot works, but it is not necessary; as I said, also disabling and re-enabling IPv6 functionality does the job. But I think this is not the point; I am supposed to not loose the IPv6 LAN address when changing LAN settings on the router, am I?

IPv6 lost LAN address when changing LAN settings

Yes, I have it working back by simply disabling and re-enabling the IPv6 functionality on IPv6 tab (reset won't needed)

IPv6 lost LAN address when changing LAN settings

Hi guys, I'm using 380.57 fw version on my RT-AC88U. I've setup correctly my IPv6 ISP settings (native DHCPv6 with prefix delegation over PPPOE, Telecom Italia, Italy) and I have a fully functional IP6 connectivity. But, whenever I change some settings to my LAN environment (for example adding...

    AB-Solution 1.0 release

But you could have DD-WRT in one of your ASUS router; check here for RT-AC66U for example: ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2016/02-19-2016-r29134/asus-rt-ac66u/ Obviously I don't want to force you; I can help with a small donation if you want

    AB-Solution 1.0 release

I'm quite sure that DD-WRT users like me (I have quite a powerful router like the WRT1900ACS) would be very interested in such solution. The only adblock approach now present on DD-WRT is based on privoxy and I don't know how it's mantained and it's not so well documented, at least by point of...

Limit bandwidth for guest network on AsusWRT-Merlin

Hi anyone figured out how to limit the upload speed of the Guest WLAN? I tried to sort it out by following the instructions in thjs thread, but without any success: http://www.snbforums.com/threads/rt-n66u-packet-shaping-and-priorities-dont-work-for-the-guest-network.22103/ Can't find an...

    RT-AC88U

Any Idea if the Kernel will be updated soon? Regarding some other similar platform (DD-WRT and OpenWRT), they are currently in 3.18 and 4.1 Kernel version and the 4.4 version is under testing

    RT-AC88U

Hi Merlin and firstly thanks for the reply. Do you think this feature will be supported in the future? It is quite useful to me, since I've 2 HDD with USB3 port and one of them could only be used with the limit of USB2 speed

    RT-AC88U

One question guys: is the RT-AC88U capable of handling at full speed a USB 3 Hub on its USB3 port? I really didn't find any clear answer on that

    Entware-ng for arm, mipsel ....

Hi, is there a way to install Entware-NG environment on OpenWRT? It would be quite useful since not all the packages are manteined on OpenWRT (aMule for example)

help in compiling/adding aMule on OpenWRT

Hi @ryzhov_al, sorry for bothering you in this forum for a OpenWRT issue, but I don't know where I can contact you for this platform. I have a WRT1900ACS router and I want to add aMule package in a OpenWRT or at least I want to compile it for my platform (MVEBU). Since I had a RT-AC68U, I know...
