    If you look around you'll see multiple recommendations to use Asus Stock firmware on mesh nodes with Merlin on the Master node. This has always worked for me for AX and Merlin, but I don't have a BE router to test.

    At the very least, DON'T start posting about something broken with a new build until you've FIRST performed a factory reset and HAND loaded all parameters. Only THEN, post questions.

    Is your AX58 mesh node also on Merlin? I've had better success with the Mesh master on Merlin and the mesh nodes on stock firmware.

    Agreed. This latest version required that for me having come from several previous versions with dirty upgrade. And loading saved config would not function properly. Manual setup fixed everything.

    What about this in the changelog? REMOVED: Wifi Radar was removed (unsupported by Wifi 7 devices, and security issues cited by Asus in their own recent releases).

    To those currently running a pf/opnsense as router and professional wirelese AP, what is an example of a professional AP that you would refer to? I think this is a curious conversation when taken in light of the Wifi 7 routers conversation here...

    Yes. I have Comcast cable with 1g down, 24 up. They typically overprovision a bit, so the 1 g down goes to ~1.2g down, up doesn't change much.     AX88u - I use WAN AGG, but my Modem has 2 x 1g ethernet ports and supports WAN AGG. I use the WAN AGG side of my AX88u and get slightly more than 1g throughput. Normally a 1g WAN on AX88u would result in just under 950mb, but by using this I can get the nearly full 1.2g throughput of my Comcast...
