Windows 11 version 24H2 and Samba protocol.

You can try disabling SMB V3/2 protocol. Just remember to restart the system after making changes. Check out my link in that thread. I don't have Windows 11 on hand right now, so I can't check these changes myself. So treat my posts as just tips and not ready-made solutions.

Windows 11 version 24H2 and Samba protocol.

And before the update it didn't bother you? If SMB works only within your internal network, then I don't see a problem.

Windows 11 version 24H2 and Samba protocol.

In this thread the topic of SMB was discussed and there is a solution to the problem: LINK

    Release ASUS GT-AX6000 Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_34797 (2024/10/01)

Great that you managed to solve the problem. In my Windows 10 both of these parameters are set by default. The 24H2 update probably changes it.

    Release ASUS GT-AX6000 Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_34797 (2024/10/01)

Have you tried turning off the SMB signature requirement? Everything is described in the link. I have no way to check because I work on Windows 10.

SSD drive not detected/mounted on RT-AX88U Pro after router's reboot

It wasn't that I didn't want to hear more advice. What I meant was that advice such as "reset and set everything up again" repeated every now and then does not bring anything.

SSD drive not detected/mounted on RT-AX88U Pro after router's reboot

I don't know how many times you have to write it for it to reach non-believers? Configuring from scratch does not change anything about the disk. I did this configuration several times, changing the software. It is a cure for many ailments, but not for the disc problem. Another piece of advice...

SSD drive not detected/mounted on RT-AX88U Pro after router's reboot

I have a 2TB USB3 drive and it works great. I have a LAN transfer of 198MB/s download and 145MB/s upload (on 2.5G infrastructure, of course). It's enough for home use for several people. I have FTP for this and it also works perfectly. I don't see the point in buying a QNAP NAS. I have two such...

SSD drive not detected/mounted on RT-AX88U Pro after router's reboot

I have the same thing with GT6000. The Seagate SSD worked fine on the previous router, but on the GT6000 it is exactly as you describe. This happens on Merlin as well as on the original software.

    [tools] Waveform Bufferbloat Test

The test is repeatable, I get similar results almost every time. Test of my three locations: I will only add that this coincides with my observations and the most responsive network is the first one. Speed doesn't matter here.

Now I checked by copying and then deleting the file from the USB drive. The cache value is simply not included in the graphical chart and in "System status"

Another batch of observations: 1) Improved memory management. With a USB drive connected, previously my memory usage was almost maximum, now it hovers around half. 2) An error occurred when the list of connected devices was frozen. In the first release of Alpha 1 this problem did not exist...

    [ 3004.388.7 alpha 2 Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Upgrade done from alpha 1 to alpha 2. Everything started fine except for one thing, WiFi. I had to turn Wireless - MAC Filter off and on again. Now everything works properly. If I notice something worth noting, I will write it.

Of course, it was a shortcut maind. Alpha 1 is the g83... version and "alpha 2" is actually g4c... also alpha 1, so I'm sorry if I misled anyone.

    [ 3004.388.7 alpha 1 Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Hello everyone My GT-AX6000 went from beta 388.6.2 to 388.7.1 alpha 1 and then after a few days to alpha 2. My configuration is LAN 2.5G, several devices on 5GHz WiFi, only this range enabled and WPA3. DHCP disabled, everything on static. After a few days of testing, I went back to alpha 1...
