    $9 Router Cooling (RT-AC68U Example)

since they're adding a fan, why not go the extra mile and add a filter and overpressure the case :p I personally have had more success dropping temps by pushing with these small cases, actually, but I agree that the accumulation of particulates will eventually negate the benefits of the fan. :p

    380.57 port forwarding question

ok, remove the WAN IP settings and SSH into R7000, use; ip route add default via 192.168.1.1 192.168.1.1 should be erX IP. If this works, then because of your configuration you will probably need to add this to a script like /jffs/scripts/services-start

    380.57 port forwarding question

weird, so it looks like you do not have a default route. did you set a static ip on the wan page? there should be a place for a default gateway. ifconfig to show the ip of your wan and lan interface on he r7000, iptables-save to see firewall and nat config, ip -4 route to see the routing...

    380.57 port forwarding question

just to make sure,if you SSH into R7000 and type 'ip -4 route', you should have a line like; default via 69.246.182.1 dev eth0 also, it is not outside the realm of possibilities that you may need to reboot the r7000 after changing the HTTPS port or enabling/disable access from WAN. I would...
