Signal Loss on the other side of the house.. options?

Terminator, I don't know if you solved your problem, but Merlin is now supporting Mesh - althought it is experimental yet, there are narratives saying it works well -, so I'm buying a RT-AC68u to use as mesh node!

    Orbi Mesh or Asus solution?

Klueless, the coverage is good, and the router is now located in the center of my house. But I have an area in my backyard where I don't have signal, and also want to increase it at the entrance of my house to use IP cams. I already use a TP-Link RE650 repeater - excellent! - but my needs exceed...

    Orbi Mesh or Asus solution?

Hi guys! Firstly, thanks for the tips and suggestions! The access point would be my choice, but the difficult is to wire my house. It means break walls, once there aren't conduits other than those of the electric grid, so it would be more expensive. I will ask for an Orbi RBK 50, and see if it...

Need good coverage for 2 floor apartment

There is another alternative: you could use a Powerlink to connect your main router to the AP. Of course there is some loss, but I used this solution in my house and the result was perfectly acceptable to me, as I didn't consider the theorical speed, but just my needs. Now I'm able to stream UHD...

Signal Loss on the other side of the house.. options?

I own a RT-AC88U, but Merlin doesn't supports Mesh. So I bought a TP-Link RE650 repeater, and it's awesome! Now I can stream Netflix in 4k at my home theater, where the poor quality of the connection neither allowed to watch it in HD before. It's a solution I may recommend to you, once I have...

One single IP to two MAC adresses?

Thanks a lot, @JDB! Thanks also @EventPhotoMan, but I don't find ASUS routers for sale here in Brazil, I must import them as I did with mine, and the taxes are so high. This, allied to the exchange rates make a RT-AC88U cost almost US$ 650.00 here... :(

    Client List Interfaces Wrong....?

The same happened to me today after upgrade the firmware of mine AC88u to 384.7 Beta 3, and the problem was the devices connected through 5G but showed as wired weren't getting the IPs I had set. Rolling back to 384.6 and restoring the factory defaults solved it.

One single IP to two MAC adresses?

Hi guys! I have a RT-AC88u running Merlin's firmware. As I had some points where the signal wasn't so good, I bought a TP-Link repeater RE650. The combo is ok, and I have set fixed IPs to all my devices on the router. The question is that when a device connects through the repeater, its MAC...

    Smart connect doubt

Yes, thank you daviworld. But I would like to know exactly if there was a way to avoid the automatical choice of the 5 Ghz band upper channels and force it to choose between one of the lower channels, perhaps through a script. Anyway, thanks my friend!

Hi guys! I've noticed a strange entry at the log of my RT-AC88U - Merlin's latest stable firmware, 382.1. It is a message related to an app, but I don't imagine what it could be.
