Hi guys!
I live in Brazil, and own an Asus RT-AC88U bought from USA. I know that the recommendations in the forum suggest leaving the smart connect disabled, but I'm thinking about give it a try.
But I'm facing a problem: I use a TP-Link RE650 repeater made for Europe - yep, I know my network is a salad! -, and it uses only the lower 5 Ghz channels; if I set up the router to use Smart Connect, it goes to "Auto" and normally uses higher channels, leaving my repeater virtually blind to the 5 GHz band.
I would like to know if is there a way to restrict the choice of the router to the lower channels - untill 40 - when enabling smart connect, once my repeater is essencial to my home theater.
Thanks in advance!
