I have a similar issue with an ax86 pro and aimesh. I have to bind all the Echo devices to the main router or else the multi room music will eventually fail.Just an observation here. We've a Samsung Soundbar that will connect to Amazon Alexa devices such that it mimics being a full-blown Alexa device itself. However, in order for it not to fail, it has to be connected to the same AP, same SSID, and same band as the Alexa device it's working with. If not it's Alexa capabilities fail after a day or two. It looks like it's a distinct issue with the soundbar! Nothing else here has an issue!
Hi. I managed to solve the problem for me. In my case, the problem was caused by a TP-Link router that worked as a WiFi extender. Since I turned it off, everything has been working without problems for over 10 days
Same situation. In order to get my Alexa devices to work reliably I created a specific SSID for them on my AX88Pro. It is on guest network 3 on the 2.4 Ghz band so it does not appear on MESH nodes.Just an observation here. So I'm in the market for a new router and the AX88U Pro is the top contender. I'm upgrading from an aging Netgear Nighthawk AC2100. So is this something I should be concerned about whereas the OP in this thread mentioned that the AX86U Pro has an issue with 2.4 and 5ghz clients not communicating with each other. Are you saying this is also an issue with the AX88U Pro? I only have a few devices that run on 2.4 currently (thermostat and a printer) and maybe one or two more. Will I have an issue with these 2.4ghz devices on the AX88U Pro?Same situation. In order to get my Alexa devices to work reliably I created a specific SSID for them on my AX88Pro. Here, it's just that one specific device, other "Alexa" compatible/specific devices work just fine no matter whatSame situation. Alexa devices try to be smart and remember SSIDs they have been connected to, and I have had problems if I reconfigure my wireless networks getting certain devices to be connected where I want them becomes a challenge. Here, it's just that one specific device, other "Alexa" compatible/specific devices work just fine no matter what
