ok first of all im using R7000 with Xwrt vortex
however im doubting this is xvortex issue and assuming its an issue stemming from asus-wrt or merlin-wrt
basically im trying to port forward ports to my R7000 so that it appears im connecting over WAN
i forwared 8443 to 8443 also tried 80 for http so basically all requests on the R7000 should seem like they are coming from WAN ( this works for my WEB6000Q extender i have with no special settings just forward 8344 to 80 ( also tried forwarding 8443 to 80 with R7000, same settings no luck)
i dunno whats going on here, i can vpn into my network and connect to router, but i wanna be able to connect to R7000 from outside the network without vpn and its just AP but in router mode so i can see wireless traffic monitors
i thought this was on my ERX something fracked up but im 100% sure its not and im starting to think this is a bug
