Merlin sais to use notepaid++

Atleast for me notepad ++ does not save unix files without the .bash or .sh filenames

However i guess it would be easy to hit edit and remove it after

However what i did was create the file from win-scp

Not sure if chmod worked or me manually making it executable did but its working :)
 
it seems the chmod command was not working for me, dunno what i was doing wrong...

now that i got this working im getting this all over my logs

this and ntp problem

my next thing to solve....

ugh why is ntp not working i have default gateway now...

for me notepad ++ does not save unix files without the .bash or .sh filenames

In some applications, surrounding the file name with double quotes stops the automatic addition of an unwanted extension.

For example, save as
"services-start"

( Unfortunately I don't have notepad + + here to try it ).
