On it now on AX88U. Reverted to orginal settings. Still lower than normal negated speed on my wifi. Need to manually select channel to get full speed. Saw some stuff in the logs that I haven't noticed before... Will take some more look in there after some sleep.Anyone tried alpha2 yet?
I think there is an error in the "notes":
- UPDATED: amtm to 3.1.4 (thelonelycoder)
Newest version is 3.1.5
Anyone tried alpha2 yet?
No, the notes are accurate.
Just Dirty Flash 384.16Alpha2 over Alpha1, my internet connection "Disconnected" issue after Power ON/OFF and GUI reboot reported here: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/384-16_alpha-builds-testing-all-variants.61952/page-11#post-557673Anyone tried alpha2 yet?

Yup, on my RT-AX58U. It seems much better than alpha 1. The recurring debug messages are fixed as per the commit from @RMerlin and the system log "apply" button works now if you change your log settings. The new Internet Status overview is interesting! The wireless log separation of guest network is nice. My main functions (routing, 2.4 and 5.0 Ghz wireless, WPA2 and WPA3, DoT, IPv6 all seem solid. This is a significantly better build than alpha 1. I would say KUDOS to @RMerlin !Anyone tried alpha2 yet?
I've never seen this before... But what could create such a strange behavior?
2 connected clients from the same device and IP 169.* is reported... And still the device wifi connection works and reports correct IP while I remote control it.
Edit: seems like a reboot of the router fixed this.
RT-AX88U - just one of the latest Merlin firmwares and nothing else -
I don't think the Internet Traffic overview is very accurate. I ran Speedtest which shows 230 MB download but the Internet Traffic overview only shows 44 MB. Not sure where it is pulling data from. The Traffic Analyzer seems more accurate. What are your thoughts on the accuracy?

Comes from the same source as the Traffic Monitor. It checks the amount of transferred data every two seconds, and divides it by two to obtain the rate. Like Traffic Monitor is might also become inaccurate if hardware acceleration is enabled.
The meter starts at a full rate of 100 KB/s. Once it gets a higher peak, that new peak becomes the full rate. That's why it might show 100% while doing low rate, until you get it to push higher, at which point it will become more accurate.
