Tha looks good. Great idea.

I've always wished that @RMerlin would (be allowed to) bake us a version with some of the Asus specific stuff that USED to be useful before in years past. Specifically strip out all the AI Cloud, AI Disk, allowing us to run https on port 443 like God meant it to be. Remove Time Machine, I never see anyone mentioning configuring or using it.

I'm sure it would be a) Frowned upon by Asus and b) Difficult since we never know what code or libraries are shared between components.

But lowering the memory footprint and size of image would be beneficial. Perhaps Asus will decide to remove these in the coming year(s).
Why not just get the GPL yourself and disable those before compiling your own custom firmware?

Missed opportunity to add in a "Powered by Asuswrt-Merlin" in there with the logo... next version. Heh heh.

EDIT: And updated!

Dirty flash on RT-AC86-U and no issues all working well. First time testing an Alpha build.

Thanks for the great work as ever and the QR codes are cool

I can't install it on mine, no matter what

You've got to try another printer. I seriously doubt that QR code is scannable.
I told my wife that's why we need the 77" LG OLED!

That would be way cool. Cut out the fat! A great example is the Raspberry OS that comes in three versions. The lean and mean version is great to run Pi-Hole.

I always bind to 443 for https for internal administration. Have you tried disabling all those services and trying? Never had an issue on my end.

Hmmm... cryptic answer, maybe soon?

Not if Asus hasn't released a new GPL in the meantime... If else, probably as soon as reasonably possible.
