I have reported the same problem to Asus Careline (wireless camera keep disconnected), and they replied with a workable solution. It works for my router. However, you have to try the given methods one by one until the error has stopped. Here is their reply:

Troubleshooting Method 1
i) Place the wireless router at the centre of the area for maximum wireless coverage for all network devices.
ii) Keep the router device away from metal obstructions and direct sunlight.
iii) Keep the router away from Wi-Fi devices with 802.11g or 20MHz only, 2.4GHz computer peripherals, Bluetooth devices, cordless phones, transmitters, heavy-duty motors, fluorescent lights, microwave ovens, refrigerators, and other industrial equipment to prevent signal interference or loss.
Troubleshooting Method 2
i) Update the router to the latest version.
ii) Open the Router page > Administration > Firmware Upgrade > Check both options.

Troubleshooting Method 3
i) Change the wireless mode to N only for the 2.4Ghz band.
ii) Go to Wireless > General > Band = 2.4GHz > Wireless Mode.

iii) log in to your router page.
iv) Click on Wireless > Professional > Preamble Type > Change to Short.
Troubleshooting Method 7
i) Change the RTS Threshold to 1500.
ii) Log in to your router page.
iii) Click on Wireless > Professional > RTS Threshold > Set to 1500.
Troubleshooting Method 8
i) Perform a hard reset and re-setup again your router.
ii) Turn the router off.
iii) Press and hold the "WPS" button and turn the router on.
iv) Power light is on (keep holding the WPS button).
v) Release the WPS button after the power light is off.
vi) Reboot your router by manually pressing the power button.

8. Send Feedback via web GUI [Administration > Feedback], and provide us with the email and what date & time send feedback.
