I got a AC3200 and the Traffic Analyser does not show any traffic, I have tried a factory reset and checking the date and time settings, but still to no avail.

Any Ideas?

Its broke man, AC3200, AC87r, AC68p, I think it also does not work for any older ASUS routers also?

Does it have something to do with the firmware version? As i'm running the latest. My friend 3200 traffic analyser works fine.

Mine is running on 7838 firmware and traffic analyser is fine!

I have had 4 AC87R's and now the AC68p and with ASUS FW or Merlin FW the traffic analyzer or the traffic analyzer satatisitc has never worked.

Now mind you I am just using this router for basic functions, no usb drives connected or using any of the more advanced features these routers have.

I think its a pick of the draw if you get a functioning router that will have all its features working correctly? I mean to have 4 AC87r and to have the same settings on all 4 of them and for them to act so differently each time???

I think it could be something to do with the cpu chips, I mean if you get a brand new high end cpu and OC it, and then you go by the same brand and model number and try to OC that one. It will give you different readings all the time, they might be the same brand and model but they both will act differently.

I wish they would just provide a router thats works from the get go, instead of putting all these features on the box and then when you set up your router half of the features dont work??

Dont really know, but had the 87 before and returned it as i could not get it to work fully functional. Based on the info on this forum (thank you all!!) i decided to go for the AC3200, making me very happy with latest firmware. Still being left with the feeling that Asus uses her clients as sort of betatesters......
Anyway, my problem is solved with the 3200, full parental control, full 2.5 and 5.0 access, it all works without a problem. As mentioned before, all europe dealers are returning 87's to Asus, not without a reason i guess?

While I appreciate the discussion, Does anyone have an idea on how to resolve this issue?

Did you check if you are using same firmware as your friend's 3200? In that case would advise a hard reset, and if that's not solving your problem it could be broke, but on the other hand being broke on traffic analyser only looks a bit strange to me?

To my suprise also my traffic-analyser is not showing anything anymore, nothing to be found in syslog, no reboots inbetween, rebooted just now, but nothing!

Meanwhile found out following: traffic-analyser (statistic) is still showing under monthly and weekly (ending reporting on 12-08-2015) but not daily (today 13-08-2015)
Guess it has something to do with Trend Micro as i cannot imagine that this data is stored in the memory of the router itselve?
