When I connect to my network remotely via OpenVPN then disconnect the remote connection, the web GUI no longer is accessible on the local LAN(or remotely) after that until I reboot the router. There are no other issues that I can see.
It has nothing to do with browser cache...clearing it or using a different computer or browser still shows that grey page:
"Settings have been updated. Web page will now refresh.
Changes have been made to the IP address or port number. You will now be disconnected from RT-AC56U.
To access the settings of RT-AC56U, reconnect to the wireless network and use the updated IP address and port number.
Its a minor annoyance. I can telnet into the router and reboot it. I did revert once firmware back and it does not do this. Updated back to .4561 and it does.
I did find this thread related to the issue on the N66U: http://forums.smallnetbuilder.com/showthread.php?t=16161
Update: Connected this morning remotely, and the web gui works fine afterword.....weird.
