New Around Here
I've stumbled across a weird problem which I'm not sure of the solution for.
Whenever I use my MacBook Air (connected to either 2.4G or 5G), I get fairly predictable lag spikes.
My ping to the router and to the modem remains low throughout the spikes.
My ping to Google (which is usually around 10-15ms) will spike: 200, 215, 225, and so on until requests time out. I've seen it as high as 3Kms+. It will drop back to normal, but will intermittently do the same thing.
These lag spikes occur on all devices connected to the router, whether over wifi or Ethernet.
The Air doesn't have an Ethernet port and I don't have an adapter available, so I can't test if the same thing occurs over Ethernet.
Any thoughts? I'm at a loss with what to do. I've never had anything as strange as this occur before.
Edit:
Current Firmware: 3.0.0.4.374_4561
