New Around Here
Just got my new AC68W up and running, happy with everything except the slow GUI interface. Is this normal? Whenver I log in or switch screens most of the times it just loads forever. If I stop loading the page, I'll sometimes get a mostly complete load of the page, sometimes not. Sometimes refreshing will yield a quick complete load, sometimes not.

I'm using the latest stock firmware. Is this something Merlin's FW would help? I also have an N66U on an older Merlin firmware that behaves the same way.

I'm connecting from a hard-wired PC. It actually seems like loading the GUI on my phone is faster and more reliable, although a pain to actually manage that way.

What you tried to clear your web browser cache and temporary files? You can also perform a rest of the router and see if that fixes it as well. The GUI should never be slow as its very light weight. Its even fast on mobile phones when connected via wifi so hardwired should be very speedy.

Whitelist your router's IP in Eset's web filtering settings. Search the forums for more details.

I'm sitting here in amazement you could know that without even asking if I was running Eset software.

You are truly an invaluable asset to this community. Thanks!
