With AiProtection i have the choice between,

  1. Google
  2. Aol
  3. QQ
  4. 163
But my Google Account have two factor Auth.

This is works with 2 Auth ???

I don't think, is possible to change with other domains ?????

I created a special account just for AiProtection as I didn't want share my main account info with trend micro. It is not using 2FA. I have that account set up to forward all email to my main account. It works just fine. Note that when setting up the AiProtection you need to leave off the @gmail.com part of your email address when entering it into the webgui.

I have the @gmail.com setup on mine and it works just fine. What problem(s) do you notice if you add it on yours?

When I initially set up the AiProtection and included the @gmail.com it would say in the system log "ALERT MAIL: AiProtection send mail" but I wouldn't get an email. After truncating the address I got an email. But...when revisiting the Alert Preference page in the gui it now shows the @gmail.com as part of the address.

I always thought it was strange that you had to choose the email provider in addition to entering your email address. That led me to leave off the @gmail.com with an assumption that the trend micro would add it based on requiring me to select a provider.

Well now that you put it that way, I honestly can't remember how I set mine up. Reading your first post, I went and checked my config and it shows @gmail.com. But I don't know if I put it there, or I assumed the same as you that just using everything before the @ would be fine. Regardless, mine shows it now. If I get up the motivation I'll disable and reconfigure mine using @gmail.com and see what happens.

Thanks for responding.

I don't have any 2fa going on in my gmail account. The Asus firmware works, Merlin does not.

No problems when you your an application specific password. You must go into gmail security and generate the code. This is only used when using gmail 2FA.
