Any plans to support the RT-AC55U?

The new RT-AC55U came out not that long ago, and it looks like a decent low end AC model with external antennas (which has always been my biggest complaint about the AC56U). Are there any plans for an Asuswrt-Merlin build for the RT-AC55U, and if not, what are the blockers?
