Any way to view RT-AC66U (Sprint SP-AC2015) revision version from command line?

New Around Here
Hi,

Years ago I got one of the Sprint SP-AC2015 routers which is just a RT-AC66U. I flashed Merlin on it and it has been running fine. I kept the firmware up to date until 380.59 and got lazy and haven't updated it since then. I am wanting to get back up to date but I see that there are different updates for the AC66U depending on the revision. I don't remember there being different revisions back when I first flashed it but I'm sure there were.

Since this is a Sprint router and doesn't have a revision listed on the label, is there any way for me to tell which update path I should be using?

Thanks.

Awesome, thank you for the reply. Is the factory reset necessary? Or only if I have issues after updating? Also, should I be ok to update to the latest release without flashing any in between?

You should be good to directly update to 380.68_4.
A factory default reset is mandatory, so many things have changed since that you'd have the weirdest problems after.
The best way to to it is:
- Install latest firmware
- Do the factory reset
- Let it boot to the login screen, then pull the plug
- Leave the router powerless for about 5 minutes
- Power up and configure to you liking

Thank you again. Upgraded to 380.68_4 on my lunch break and everything seems fine. I didn't leave the router powerless after the factory reset, hopefully I don't have issues. Now I can keep it up-to-date.
