Anyone figure out the annoying GUI refresh page?

randomly I'll get this when trying to get in to the GUI of any asus router that is set to https.
"Settings have been updated. Web page will now refresh.
Changes have been made to the IP address or port number. You will now be disconnected from RT-AC66U.
To access the settings of RT-AC66U, reconnect to the wireless network and use the updated IP address and port number."

The only thing that works is reseting my browser, which is annoying, obviously.

Use Incognito/Private Browsing Mode.

I occasionally find it very useful when I am doing some network crap and the motherf$&$(in URL just will not accept https://arbitrary, it keeps switching to the cached http://arbitrary url. I would have to close the browser, otherwise.

I also found out that only going to Firefox> Options > Advanced > Network > The fallowing websites are allowed to store data for offline use and i just delete the sites. Annoying but works. I think Asus should really do something about this. Not much we can do from our side
