in merlin firmware there is a scripts so that the arp table is not deleted.
I do not know if something similar could be done with the original firmware ..

I don't know which script you are using but most likely it need to modify a bitAnd where do I find such scripts to prove it? When I had installed Merlin I had it on and it worked perfectly .. I do not know if it will be the same scripts and you will tell me.
