Thanks guys for the help

I can't select the channel from Astro, he uses all the high channels

The base is really near but the issue is that the cables to connect the base to pc is bit large enough to make the base move around

And with the smart connect on I can't have control of the channel that I'll use, so it's very hard to handle the A50 with the router :(

Any other suggestion guys?

Thanks

This one is not to fix things at the wall / tables ? Should i use like if i need to fix the receiver in my table?

yes as long as it has has at least 5 lbs holding strength , should keep the base from moving . I use it for all kinds of computer mods , holds up well
I use 3m green covering on the roll 2 sided tape , 5lb hold , use it on bottom of base to hold it in place so it does not move

But will this work for the interference?

no , it was for this " The base is really near but the issue is that the cables to connect the base to pc is bit large enough to make the base move around "
It was just so the cables would not have the base moving around . I thought you had a problem with the base for the headphones moving if you used cables and using cables cut out interference , misunderstanding , sorry .

My PX51 just says it uses the 5GHz band. Trying to figure out what channel it uses. My router is on channel 153 and I have no interference.

Thanks for the reply

Maybe Astro mixamp do not have a good isolation or the quality is questionable

Again, if you're running into interference with the high channels, move the Astro base away from the interfering sources - might be the router, might be the computer... and it might only be a few inches...

It's an unlicensed band, and everything needs to get along...

Hi man how are you?

Already tried to move the base, no chance, still interference, I do not have much room here

I'm selling the headset, bought the A40tr, wired one

Thanks for the help [emoji6]

Might want to start a new thread and then post the link to that thread to continue your Astro issues

That sucks, I've got a nestcam I've sorta got to give up on that just won't stay connected if I want smart connect on(worked on smart connect on ac3200). But given how well it's working otherwise, it's been a price I'm willing to pay.

Did you try connecting your Nestcam to the guest network? That's one way of bypassing Smart Connect.

My 5300 is still going strong on firmware 753. Not a single problem. Even dhcp on my media extender is still working 12 days in. This thing is a beast. Never ever have I had a home router of any brand behave so well, and I've been searching for this since I first got broadband back in 2001. My Mikrotik isnt even this stable! Forget MU-MIMO...stability with throughput are all I ever wanted, and this thing just works.

I did finally give it a whirl yesterday, while it stayed connected, it was having issues maintaining a good upload speed on the guest network, as if guest network was throttled which it shouldn't be. I didn't spend too much time on it but will today.
