Yes, I have this problem and I use IE11.

NaN is an abbreviation for "Not a Number" and is sometimes used when an invalid value is returned for a field.

This was a problem specific to Internet Explorer. Asus already resolved this one internally, so next firmware should be fine.

Not necessarily. Myself, I used it as a poor man's VPN for a while, before OpenVPN was implemented. I was doing port forwarding through an SSH tunnel.

And better to expose SSH than the webui IMHO. SSH, if you secure it with keys, is very secure.

I work as a systems engineer building very large hybrid clouds and shudder to think of having shell or a web surface area exposed and public facing. I guess it wouldn't be terrible if implemented port forwarding to a bastion that lived in a DMZ which you used to open a secure tunnel through.

I don't really feel VPN adds too much security or complexity, but it is better than nothing. Unless you are dealing with the NSA ;)
