Does it shows the UP/Down meter properly with QOS completely turned of?
Both Runner and Flow Cache enabled with QoS off. Doesn't work again. Never worked properly on any firmware for me.

firmware 45717 so it does display the information properly
Yes? Don't remember 45717. It's was 6 months ago.
Yes it does..
Do you have anything else disabling hw acceleration? Bandwidth limiter, etc?
This one never worked for me right. Not something to complain about though.

it was working fine for me up until the last firmware 81792 and this one. and for a more useful post high cpu usage spikes are completely gone. i'm liking this firmware.
Adaptive QOS appears to be working OK.
To be found in GUI and ASUS website. ( Sweden / Norway tested)

Have updated AiMesh router + AiMesh Node. All good so far.
The WAN Led is Red and the status screen shows disconnected
That's not what I am seeing. On 81858 Led is unreliable along with the WAN connection . On 81352 its rock solid correct and works as expected. You just needed to reboot your modem. It's a frequently reported issue.

You know better your setup. Mine is DOCSIS cable modem to RT-AC86U. No issues with WAN so far.
For me, I don’t touch these settings, the more power the better, especially on 2.4GHz I never seem to reach far enough at good speeds...for outside IP Cams...they are sometimes disconnecting/reconnecting...but not a real issue in the end...Do you work with the Tx Power transmitter control? For me, I change the position of the regulator but WiFi Analyzer on my Android phone shows the same level of radio signal :-(
(Question applies to this and previous firmwaere)
