I restarted the router but it doesn't change the MAC-Address.For the MAC cloning to work I suspect you need to restart your router, power cycle it to be safe.
How can I temporary fix this problem on my RT-AC87U and FW 378.55? Can I setup MAC address for WAN by shell scripts in JFFS?Both are known issues in Asus's code, and have been fixed upstream by them. In the second case, they simply removed that setting as it doesn't work.

They simply removed that? I thought I have to use this option in Europe!
Thx.
Is there a workaround for the mac issue?
Hi,
Any chance that mac cloning issue is fixed for RT-AC87U in recently released Asuswrt-Merlin 378.56?
Thanks a lot for a prompt response! They are both based on 9177, so it should be fixed.
