Asus RT-AC88U - PPPoE WAN Connection problem

As part of the initial setting ISP brought a new tplink router to be installed. They were charging for it as well. I told them that I have my own Asus router and I don't need a new router.

Possibly this could be the reason as they were wanting to also sell their routers as well. Just a guess ...

Guys new here, but with a similar problem, my Asus AC86U wont connect to the ONU
I triple checked de PPPoE user name, password, tried all the setings that I found here, (mac clone, pppd whit the lcp-indent config with lower end off asus mac, and of my previous router mac)
Im on 384.14_beta2 firmware
And my ISP`s GPON uses PAP authentication

Delete your picture AND text with user/pw and private IP.
ok you only have CGN (carrier grade NAT) with 100.64.x.x IP, but anyway, never post such things!
