Asus RT-AX86U Router & VPN

Hi,

I use a Asus RT-AX86U Router .
With Merlin software RT-AX86U_386.7_2.

I want to use a VPN on my Router.

I use VPN on my Mobile's, Tab, Laptop & Google TV .

Is it a double VPN, when I enabe it in the Router?

Or can I edit this?
Or exclude some devices?

It want to go on Holiday, work for ex. and use than VPN on those devices.

I use multiple VPN providers.

Googled it & had contact with support.

First I'd update to a newer firmware!
If you set all traffic on the router to pass through the VPN, then yes it would double up and cause potential troubles - but you have VPN Director in the Merlin Firmware which you can use to mitigate this.
I'd get started and see what issues it throws up, and try to simulate how you think you are going to be using the system before you go on holiday! Then come back and throw the issues at us in here, because I think there may be a few!

Wifi connection problems on 2.4 & 5 GHz.

I tested different fw, did clean installs .
Thanks to tutorials from SNB forums.

RT-AX86U 386.7_2 made by Merlin works flawlessly.

It's most likely a configuration issue you're introducing.

That firmware is over a year old. There have been plenty of fixes and security updates since then.

You may want to give the 3004.388.4 beta a try. It worked well for me on the AX86U Pro and has fewer "bugs" than some other firmware.

HELLO; i m using Macbook and i downloaded RT-AX86U_388.2_2 but cannot install it. here my error. app store regisered in US and This app is currently not available in your country or region.

There is no application set to open the document “RT-AX86U_388.2_2_pureubi.w”.

how can i install .w file can someone help?
