Hello, until now I used in my 5ghz configuration Wireless Auto mode, control channel 36 and 20-40-80 MHz. AX mode and 160 MHz disabled. The speeds were ok, but now I want to use Wifi6 hardware. What are the optimal settings to use or test in a mixed network environment. Ik know all situations are different hut In can't find some guidelines or basics to test...I hope someone can advice me in that. Grtz from the Netherlands, Jan

Found WPA3 seems to improve latency (mixed WPA2/WPA3)
Disable 160MHz band, most won't utilise it yet.

Ok. Hopefully anyone can tell me more detailed what to configure or to try in the Netherlands to get my optimal configuration in a mixed environment with wifi6 equipment without loosing the speed and reliability of the signal I have now. Anyone?

detailed what to configure or to try in the Netherlands
what is the answer to this command?

You have a weak region in terms of power, especially with a 2.4Hz module

The best option would be:
2.4Hz - 40 (not 20/40) 11 channel
5Hz - 160 (not 20/40/80/160) 100-128 channel

look big table https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WLAN_channels#5_GHz_or_5.9_GHz_(802.11a/h/j/n/ac/ax)

Hello, my 2.4 GHz signal has much improved, thank you! The 5 GHz network is not recognized anymore when I configure it as you advised. I did the old settings back and my 5 GHz is visible again. At a later time I will do some more tests.

I think if you set the 5.0Ghz channel at 160, you will have at least a 5 minute wait for radar/weather channel clearance. If there is an active radar (or weather station) it will not connect (at least not there). I am in the UK and have almost identical constraints, using channel 100 with 160 unticked. I could use 36-64, but that is where all the neighbouring traffic is located.

I give it a try this evening. My children use the 5ghz network during the day. Thanks again.

It works fine, thanks for your support!

Hi Jan,

I also live in the Netherlands and I have the same router as you (same output when issueing NVRAM command).

Were you able to set your 5GHZ radio to channel 160????

I don't have that option. Ranges are 36-64 and 100-128 (@ 80 MHz)...

I though that channel 160 in our region (Europe) is not available, in other regions (like North America) it is..

Hi, me also. 160 isn't available. I have channel 100 in use. My settings are now: 160 MHz fixef, control channel 100, network Auto, wifi 6 enabled.

5 GHz 50-140 channels it DFS, you need after reboot or change settings wait above 3min while he scans the air

me need output https://www.snbforums.com/threads/a...-wifi6-in-mixed-environment.67131/post-626894
