I have an Asus RT-AX88U router. I turned off smart connect and created dedicated 5 GHz network with 802.11ax/Wi-Fi 6 enabled but none of my WiFi 6 supported devices connect to it as WiFi 6. They connect as WiFi 5 on my home network. So I'm not getting the full performance on WiFi. I have updated the firmware yet it's still the same.

My devices can connect to public Wi-Fi 6 network, so it's definitely the router problem.

Where do you see this information and have you changed anything in Wireless, Professional settings?
I see this on my phone the network type is wifi5. In public/other network i can connect as wifi 6.

No I haven't changed any other settings.

Based on this information only - reset back to factory default and start over. 🤷‍♂️

Are your devices connecting with the "old" SSID or the new one you created for your 5Ghz radio?

Also check the Wireless log via the GUI for Channel and Bandwith
