lol. I’m well aware. I always start out with I have reset and rebooted 27 times. It don’t help so let’s not go there. lolWhen you have enough - we'll talk about SMB options.
Seriously, tell them you know what are you doing because otherwise all you'll get is reboot/reset advice and back to square one.
I've seen first hand how poor the support is with Asus pertaining to the ET12. I won't go into detail as there's not enough space and time for that. . I have spent months worth of emails and voice calls all to come up with zero. I have three ET12's, and finally relegated them to aimesh nodes to my BE96u as the main router. They seem to work fine now as a node. I really wish they would have come through with their promise as vlans on the device, but heard from them a while back they dropped support. I can get my Guest Network Pro vlans to propogate to them, and connect, but they don't show up in the main router interface as connected to the guest vlan, but exhibit properties (ip address, etc). Overall experience with ASUS support is a negative number if that's appropriate to rate. Differenet answers from each one of them and the fact I talked to no less than 15 different folks in mind numbingly frustrating. . If they just had a product that worked and didn't have to contact them that would be fine, but issues here and there that pop up can be super frustrating and regretful when their could be other options that still may suit your minimum needs.Well I got these to test from my family as an IT guy was happy to get WAN LAN 2.5g port. Spent almost a month with ASUS SE, Finally got someone who wants to makes sure I reset etc and set up wifi6, this was done many times it’s no brainer, guess what 5feet away Wi-Fi 6 is out and I am forced to go 2 or 5, changed to 160 band with so 5 is recognized as 6. Sent email to CEO office got call back they want me to ship two of them, told them I have only one guess what pay 35$ and ASUS will call after troubleshooting for additional charges, Linksys offers 5years warranty on their high end products, I wanted to run my car over this router and smash a into pieces and post the videos, If it was mine I wud have loved to do it, Also remember these routers are sold in pairs and if u have one then u out of luck….If anyone reading this don’t invest money on this useless tower. best of luck getting someone at ASUS second level support they all call themselves Supervisors so don’t ask for Sup LoL
