Yes, however you will need to rename the datafile.
Once you are on the AC66U configure Traffic Monitoring to point to a folder on the USB disk. Then, reboot and check syslog. You will see errors about rstats being unable to locate some file with a random-looking filename. Rename your N66U data file to that same filename (something.gz), and the router will start using it.
Yes, you must create a new database if it's a new USB disk. Select "Create or reset datafile" then apply.
cd /mnt/sda1
ls /mnt/
mkdir data

I want to periodically export the bandwidth logs as well.
