ASUS AX86U Pro with 3.0.0.6 firmware here. I have experience with SSH, but I don't know the best approaches to tweak this router to my prefernces. Do I need any scripts to have SSH commands re-apply on every reboot? I need to disable the following (and this list is going to grow as I learn more):
- STP
- Multicast
I want a very strict VLAN-isolated network. Not all VLAN's work the same. Some allow IGMP snooping and others do not. Some routers have settings for it and some do not. I don't know how this router does it exactly. If necessary, I can write IPTables, EBTables, and ARPTables manually, but definitely want them to apply on every reboot.
I hope custom ASUS Merlin firmware for 3.0.0.6 is coming along nicely!
