Back on this thread's topic, folks.

Doesn't seem like a lot of people complaining much about 5ghz and stability with this FW. Might try it.

No drops anymore but the battery drain is still there.... hope the find a solution to it.

Wow! That sounds really exciting!!! How's hour experience? Do you think that we're really getting there finally? Could we finally have the drivers that Asus needs to produce an awesome suite???

Why do I brush after 8715 firmware, use 2WAN or 1WAN computers and cell phones are not the Internet, but the router's internal "network diagnostic but can ping through baidu", I do not know where to set the problem?

Hi binggesoft,

Wait for next beta build.

Traffic analyzer is gone, was in 8248. Wondering any chances to be available again in later firmware...

Is it really gone? I updated from 8248 to 8715 and I still have it! The only problem I'm facing now is slow USB 3.0 speeds. I have 2 TB WD hard drive plugged into USB 3.0 and I'm getting 10 MB/s read speed via Gigabit Ethernet connection.

Well, it was there even in AP mode to be certain. And I just revert back to 8248 then of course TA back again. After that, reloaded 8715 again and TA's gone unfortunately...All I did in AP mode. Or I may suppose my 87U to be ROUTER mode for making TA available, that's fine, I will.

Yes, I USB3.0 firmware also very slow. Past the old firmware speed about 50MB / S. Read up to 70MB + / but I do not know why now so slow speed USB3.0?

I drew a diagram CPU, 2.4G & 5G chip display, do not know whether the official added to it?

There's an option under "Professional" settings that reduces the USB3.0 to avoid causing interference with 2.4ghz radio.
Disable it if you don't care about 2.4ghz being affected when usb3.0 is working
