Sorry, just got this router and I have no idea how to reset to factory default. Is there a writeup somewhere on how to do this?

Because I don't have release notes for it. I want to have it first or at least test it first to avoid things like _7944 which was terrible.
I'll test it and post it if I find it good [emoji6]

So far I've found a GUI issue when I select "AiCloud" Tab, it shows "USB Application" as selected instead, so I need to go to another tab in order to access "USB Application" one.

WPS and Beamforming issues still there, great work ASUS.

I won´t bet too much on this two bugs get ever fixed... seems like the Quantenna chipset wasn´t the right decission and Asus is now trying to limit the mess instead of rolling out the advertised features (mu-mimo, bean forming...)

I feel it is indeed beyond drivers and that we are actually facing some hardware inherent faults. A pity....

I feel it takes a couple of years normally to totally nail down a routers firmware.

This is why manufacturers should not release half baked products. They should release products when it's fully functional, not "we'll fix it later" crap that they are doing.

If they don't deliver mu-mimo, nor fix the 5ghz issue, do we have grounds to sue? Or at least return the product and get a full refund past the 30 days of purchase?

I am thinking about taking this to small claims court if they don't deliver mu-mimo or at least fix the 5ghz issue. I am currently not using the 5ghz band because of this. I didn't buy a wireless N router.

After adding a "limited time" guest network the gui always shows "> 1 Minuten" as remaining time although there should be over 12 hours left...
