Bluesound issues - possible to fix?

Hi forum!

Bluesound (a Hi-Fi streaming solution similar to Sonos but with better quality etc.) claims that ASUS routers have issues with wireless clients (2.4GHz) which are commonly known. This seems to affect Bluesound components (and in my personal case only Bluesound). Problem is that the clients intermittently loose the connection with the router and doesn't re-connect. According to Bluesounds support, better results/stability can be achieved by changing some settings (below).

Router:
LAN -> IPTV: Enable multicast routing (IGMP Proxy) : Enabled
LAN -> IPTV: Enable efficient multicast forwarding (IGMP Snooping): Enabled
Wireless -> Professional -> Band 2.4GHz -> Enable IGMP Snooping: Enabled
Wireless -> Professional -> Band 2.4GHz -> Multicast Rate(Mbps): OFDM 12

Access Points:
Wireless -> Professional -> Band 2.4GHz -> Enable IGMP Snooping: Enabled
Wireless -> Professional -> Band 2.4GHz -> Multicast Rate((Mbps): OFDM 12

My question is, is this something that is known with other 2.4GHz clients and is this something that is possible to rectify in the firmware and is this at all ASUS fault?

Have tried the latest Merlin (of course) firmware with RT-AC87U & RT-AC3200 with the same results.

Thanks!

Took just a short while for it to fail :-( I have tons of wired and wireless devices, everything works flawlessly except Bluesound wireless devices (BTW Bluesound only supports 2.4GHz and they are Linux-based). Bluesound just claims that ASUS routers is the problem and that they have issues (meaning that ASUS should fix them I guess).

Have you enabled the Xbox compatible option on 2.4GHz?
