New Around Here
First off, I'm running the latest stable Merlin build on a brand new RT-AC68U with Windows 7 x64. I've attempted to use multiple USB drives ranging from 16GB sticks to the 4TB drive I was hoping to use as a shared storage drive. Nothing seems to work. None of the drives appear in the Network map. I've tried manually locating \\192.168.1.1\ but it doesn't appear either. Samba is definitely enabled in the router settings. I've run through AiDisk. I've tried leaving my homegroup on the computer in question. When used as a Media Server it does appear on my TCL Smart TV, but I can't access the server's contents on my PC to actually add/remove content. I've tried every solution I've seen and nothing works. I just need to access my movies and TV from my entire network and I don't want to shell out big bucks for a NAS when this should work!

Go to Wireless, Professional and disable "Reducing USB 3.0 Interference". See if that helps. None of my USB drives are recognized unless this setting is disabled

I tried this as well. I also tried both USB ports 2.0 and 3.0. Out of frustration, I actually resigned myself to buying an HTPC that will run my servers. I swore I would never buy a pre-built PC, but SlickDeals had a fantastic deal on an Alienware Alpha for $320. I would, however, still like to get my router functioning properly, so any more ideas to try would be great! Thanks!

¿Does the usb led light on when the stick is inserted?
If it so, ¿have you tried mounting the stick manually?
If usb device is actually detected then the stick partition should appear as /dev/sda1 or /dev/sdb1.
