Can't get Admin pages to display correctly in browser

I have a RT-N66U router running 378.55 for some time now. Today I tried wireless to logon to the router admin page. I can not get the pages to display correctly in that a few parts of the pages render randomly. Parts of the browser page says:

"Settings have been updated. Web page will now refresh.
Changes have been made to the IP address or port number. You will now be disconnected from RT-N66U.
To access the settings of RT-N66U, reconnect to the wireless network and use the updated IP address and port number."

Other times I get "The connection was reset". Other times on a browser page refresh I get parts of the above text inter-mixed with the admin parts.

I used both the latest Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers under Windows 10. I also cleared the browser cache and cookies. I also power cycled the router to no avail. Besides this problem, the router is running fine.

Anything I should try?

OK, I resolved my problem. I am using the Avira Antivirus Pro product and it includes a Web Protection module. I had to add an exception to Web Protection to allow the URL of "192.168.*.*". That solved the browser rendering. Don't know after all this time I had to do this. I've been using this software and router/software for a very long time. I guess Avira changed something in the background.
