Even when I'm literally next to the router, I max out at 866 Mbps. Using a MacBook Pro 16", which has a 3x3 WiFi chip. Here are my settings (I had the channels set to "20/40/80/160 MHz" with the same results):

Maybe the Mac has a loose antenna connection. What does the Wireless Log list for the Mac's MAC NSS, 2 or 3?

I'm having a similar problem with newer 14" MacBook Pro with Pro chip. With a Ubiquiti U6-LR I can get TX Rate to show 1200 however with XT12 I can't get more than about 800 right next to the router. Are there settings that make the XT12 more compatible with the MacBook Pro's? My understanding is my MacBook Pro has a 2x2 card which is somewhat disappointing for a newer $4000 MacBook
