Correct DNS settings to use AdGuard Home

I have AGH and Nord VPN running (mostly) successfully. With the VPN on I can browse protected fine. On my streaming box I can browse fine. With Tivimate however I cannot get any channels. I am stuck.

Sitting back on my recliner I realized VPN Director would solve my problem like a charm.

I personally don't know what this Tivimate needs and also don't know what browse protected means. You just pay extra to some 3rd party company with typical scare tactics advertisement and deal with the inconveniences they didn't warn you about.

In adguard the dns settings I have are:
127.0.0.1
172.17.0.1
192.168.50.102
Https://dns10.quad9.net/dns-query

Your AdGuard Home on separate device must have only external DNS servers in settings. From Ontario I don't recommend using Quad9 because of inconsistent performance in my own experience. Use unfiltered DNS upstream and filter with your AdGuard Home blocklists. This way you'll know what is blocked in case false positive happens. Own resolver like Unbound + own filtering like AdGuard Home works perhaps best, but I don't know if your Asustor NAS can run Unbound.
